참제비고깔로 알려진 종이다. 그러나 국생종에는 참제비고깔로 등록된 것은 학명이
Delphinium ornatum Bouche과 Consolida ajacis (L.) Schur.의 2개가 있는데 어느 한쪽을 폐기하지 않은 채 그대로 두고 있다.
그러나 The Plant List를 보면 아래와 같이 되어 있다

국내에 C. orientalis 와 C. ajacis 두 종이 모두 들어와 있는지는 모르겠지만 국생정에서 참제비고깔이라는 동일국명으로 학명이 다른 두 종을 올려놓았다는 것은 이 두 종이 별개의 종인 것을 인식하지 못한 까닭인 것 같다
Delphnium과 Consolida를 구별하는 특징은
헛수술의 유무, 꽃잎의 기부가 동합하는지 여부가 있지만 너무 미세한 차이라 보기 어렵고
심피로 구별하는 것이 가장 쉽다. Consolida는 심피가 1개, Delphinium은 심피가 3-5(-7)개이다
Consolida orientalis 는 소포가 보통 꽃받침에 닿고 Consolida ajacis는 닿지 않는다
