학명 풀이

The specific epithet "volemus" is derived from the Latin vola, meaning "the hollow of the hand", suggestive of Fries's reference to the large amount of latex "flowing enough to fill the hand".

The generic name Lactarius is Latin for milky, a reference to the latex secretion. The species name volemus is Latin for either “filling the hand” or “a kind of pear,” depending on the reference; it may be that it is both – a particularly large pear that fills the hand.

주름살은 백색-담황색이라 하였으나 여기서는 갈색으로 보인다. 늙은 버섯이라 변색하지 안았나 싶다

 

 

 

<새로운 한국의 버섯> 설명

 

발생 시기 : 여름-가을

생태: 활엽수림의 땅 위에 단생-군생

형태: 갓은 지름 3.5-10cm,  오목평반구형에서 오목편평형이 된다. 갓 표면은 갈황색-등갈색, 평활하거나 분말상이다. 조직은 백색이나 상처가 나면 갈색으로 변하며, 건조하면 말린 청어 냄새가 난다. 유액은 백색이나 공기와 접하면 차츰 갈색이 되며, 양이 매우 많다.  주름살은 완전붙은형-내린형, 빽빽하고, 백색 내지 담황색이다.  대는 4-10 X 1-2cm, 원통형, 표면은 갓과 같은 색이다.  포자는 지름 7-10㎛, 구형, 표면은 부분적인 망상이고, 포자문은 백색이다

이용과 효능: 식용버섯으로 맛이 좋다. 면역 개선 작용이 있으며 한방에서 만성기관지염, 소화 불량에 도움이 된다고 한다.
